Automakers who try to camouflage their latest test vehicles try many tactics to cover up their latest designs. Now it seems the Chevrolet Camaro is opting for a huge false front end in an attempt to disguise what’s underneath.

These images were taken of the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro in Colorado, all with these unusual false front fans with holes for the lights and airflow. At first you would think this is a new prototype of some strange futuristic Camaro design, but it’s actually just camouflage for what is its latest design. One thing is definitely for sure, false front end is doing a good job of disguising what we could easily pick out in the past.

The rear end of the vehicle seems to be identical to the present versions, which is probably why it just resorted to the usual camouflaged wrap. However, there are some design changes, such as in the tail lights and some of the lines opting for simpler looks this time.

Mechanically, the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro will probably be the same power unit, but with a 10 speed automatic transmission currently in the ZL1.
